Each year the Poole & District model Railway Society host a model railway exhibition at the Poole Grammar School at the beginning of November. Each year there is good selection of working layouts and trade stands from the local area and far a field.
Although predominantly English layouts, 16 this year, we will be having two US N scale layouts there. 'Horse Thief Bridge' (Ant Quinlan's Layout) and the 'NTRAK' built by the late Neil Lancaster, a well-known and loved NMRA member. Although the star of the show, and not to be missed, is the huge 'Bournemouth West' which is a scratch built layout recreating the former station in OO with full length trains.
