Dear All,
At a very busy time of the Year, save this and relax and read, when time allows.
Newsletter No 108 will be about the Wickham “Utility” walking beam, this does not need a blacksmith to make it. (Which may be the reason Wickham’s switched to it for the immediate post 1945 years).
Newsletter No 109 will be a New year’s Present from Mark Egerton and Tim Edmonds to all the group.
The Newsletter is by Tim Edmonds about his visit to the Flam Museum in Norway and Mark has designed all the parts to build the machines Tim did a photo Survey on.
I will have sample laser cuts by then and will test assemble the parts and take photos for the Newsletter.
The parts will also be used to build a very simple conversion of a Permanent Way Push Car with a tube frame into a basic Velorail.
This may be the parent of a very simple Velorail design if the Push Car Conversion works.
Newsletter No 110 will be about the final part of the Wickham Angle Frame pump car of 1946, the Frame.
Three standard gauge machines have already been started, a 3 foot gauge machine in Ireland finished and a 2 foot machine under way.
I hope you all have a relaxing Christmas.
Yours Jacqui.
