Hi All,

I've just rejoined the association after a very, very long gap! So long, I've no idea at what retailers are around in this country any more. So if anybody could make some recommendations through personal use or by hearsay, please, I'd be extremely grateful. What I do remember is, HM Revenue and Customs don't make buying from the States a very cost effective option, no matter how big the discounts!

Hi Mark,

I tend to get my US stuff from Hattons, Rails of Sheffield, private buyers of eBay and train shows. A particularly good dealer at shows is Anoraks Anonymous.

Thank you for the reply. I shall certainly be getting in touch with Hattons and Rails, to see what they can and cannot order. I've heard of Anoraks Anonymous, I shall look for them at any shows both they and I attend!

I tend to use Mech Models for most items. In my experience they are excellent.
