Hi
Why do you want a staging yard? One can work quite well assuming the train had just arrived at the first station. Or a removable staging cassette off one end?

What about starting the train from an interchange siding?

Well it is now starting to come together. You've done more than I have recently, so don't worry about being 'slow' . I don't think it was a race to begin with, was it?
