Time for a new Modelling Challenge

Post by PeterBowen »

Last year was our 75th Anniversary and we had intended to have a Square Foot Modeling Challenge which was to be judged at the Derby Convention and since Covid killed that it has not stopped the challenge which is still on.

To enter you must create a railway related scene in any scale and in any type ie., American, Canadian, British etc. as long as it is to do with a railway AND it must contain scenery materials from the Model Tree Shop who are sponsoring the challenge and will offer a prize of £50 towards any of their products.

Are you up for it?

The Model Tree Shop are sponsoring a Square Foot Challenge of any railroad-related scene in any scale, any era, any theme, that must fit on to a board that is no larger than a square foot 12” x 12” in old money (304.8mm x 304.8mm) that must include some of their scenic material, to be judged at the Derby Convention in 2021 with a prize of a £50 gift voucher.

This is a great opportunity for everyone to give modelling in a small space a try, be as creative as you can for this 76th Anniversary model railroading challenge.
