Preiser or other seated figures can also be adapted quite easily. And don't hesitate to just chop the legs (or even more) off, as you'll often find they won't fit otherwise - you can't see the legs anyway.

Woodland scenic make a set, more steam though. Kato's look the best for modern locos.
