Re: Suggestion box

Hey, isn't this forum great? i love the organisation of the posts, and the fact that the icon on the left goes red when a new message comes in. You can look at the board index and immediately see where all the new posts are. Fantastic. Why didn't we do this ages ago?

Re: Modules v Boards

It all depends on whether you want to go for variety within your module or make your module fixed which gives you more planning options within a fixed module, if you see what I mean. There is another option, I suppose, and that is to arrange your track plan so that it's possible to be able to rearra...

Re: What did it for you?

For me it was B&O because they were the first and I find the old time stuff fascinating. Unfortunately I'm a ready-to-run guy in N gauge and there isn't any really old stuff that runs well. I make do with the Athearn old-time consolidations and moguls, especially the blue #1 and the Overland coa...

Re: Suggestion box

Thanks for the info Martyn, I'll do that.

Regarding opening a link in a new tab or window, I didn't know you could do it like that. That'll probably do since then it's an option and you aren't forced one way or the other.

Re: Suggestion box

I figured out how to change the order, though it looks like you have to manually change it on each topic. Pity there's not a universal setting, or if there is I haven't found it yet. Alan And each time you go into a topic, by the looks of it. That's a bit of a bummer. (Oops! Does that count as swear...

Re: Suggestion box

I've got another suggestion. When you link to another website or photo site, or even a picture, how about opening it in a new tabpage so that you preserve your original place on the forum?

Re: Suggestion box

Hi Martyn.

Can we control the order of the posts? Having the most recent first would be useful, I think. Is that a user option or do you control that?

Re: Car Cards & way bills

Hi Koos. I made my own using MS Word. I get 6 car cards on an A4 sheet and 16 waybills. I've printed lines on the sheets to show me where to do the cuts and folds. The car cards have the bottoms folded up and I stick the sides with sticky tape. It gives a nice sized pocket that takes a four-part way...
