COVID-19: A message from Stacey Walthers Naffah

What a week we’ve had, haven’t we? I shared a message earlier this week on our social media channels, and I thought I’d send it to you all here again today. And, I added some new information to close out the week. Challenge breeds creativity. I want to reach out personally to let you know that I am ...

Re: Rocky mountaineer

Thanks for your reply. That's very interesting and helpful! I'll remember your invite if, and when, I'm next in the Crewe area. Do you know if Canadian Railway Modeller magazine is still published? I asked the question on another thread but so far no replies! http://www.nmrabr.org.uk/forum/viewtopic...

Re: Rocky mountaineer

Did anyone watch WORLD’S MOST SCENIC RAILWAY JOURNEYS on Channel 5 last Friday (October 25th)? Episode 1 was Canada and featured a trip on the Rocky Mountaineer! This really is a beautiful, stylish train. 800558 was asking about modelling it in N scale but I’d be interested to know whether there’s a...

The October 2019 issue of MODEL RAILROADER magazine is now available from UK stockists and features Bernard Kempinski’s O scale United States Military RR ‘Aquia Line’ layout, set in Civil War-era Virginia (see previous posting for Bernard's blog). Canadian Railway Modeller Magazine

Does anyone know if Canadian Railway Modeller magazine is still published? The website hasn’t been updated for two years and lists the latest issue as July/August 2017! Even worse, the subscription page still contains the 2014 rates!!!

Continental Modeller - Latest Issue

I’ve decided it’s probably best to have a ‘Continental Modeller – Latest Issue’ thread (which can be updated ongoing) rather than create a new thread for each new issue. Anyway, the September 2019 issue is now available and contains a couple of features that may be of interest to NMRABR members: CLE...

Voie Libre Magazine

I recently stumbled across VOIE LIBRE, a quarterly French journal aimed at the narrow gauge (and 'secondary line') modeller. Packed with reviews, layouts, prototype features & “how to” articles, this is a great magazine. AND there’s an English language edition for those of us who don’t speak Fre...
