Active Groups

Seaboard Southern Following an unsuccessful application to Crawley Council for a return to the Tilgate Park huts we are now meeting on a fortnightly basis on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month. The 2nd Friday meets are 'running' nights and are held at the Maidenbower Pavillion, Maidenbower, Crawley where we usually have a selection of small layouts and a DCC programming track in attendance. The 4th Friday are 'social' which have initially been a meal out but we are looking at outings on a Saturday during the summer to local preserved lines etc. For further details please contact Dan Spalding on 07876 553211

South Shore meets weekly on a Wednesday evening at Sompting Village Hall, Sompting, near Worthing - except for the second Wednesday each month when it is held at a member's home.  For details of the group see their page or their website at www.southshore.org.uk

The third group is the Surrey Group which started in 2015 and meets in members's homes.  Dates will appear in Roundhouse from time to time or come back here to check.  Contact Stephen Black for more details.

Kent & East Sussex which meets in members' homes on a round robin basis most months.  For details of what is happening see their page on this website, click here: Kent & East Sussex

The Future

The Division does not meet as such since there are four active groups but some thought is being given to holding Division-wide events such as a layout tour and a one or two day event at a location central to the Division in the near future.
