NMRA British Region Active Groups

There are twenty-two active local groups in most areas of the UK. Some groups meet as a part of a model railway club on their premises, whereas others have either their own premises or the use of local halls. A few groups meet in members' homes as part of a 'round robin group'.

There will be a group, maybe more, near you that meets on a regular basis. The local group map shows where they all are. Contact the Registrar to be put in touch with your local group to find out what they do and where they meet. If there is not one near you, let the Registrar know and he can advise how to start a new one.

Activities locally range from building and operating group layouts or modules, to meeting to operate on members' layouts to attending clinics and other modelling sessions and social events.
