NMRA BR members having fun

  • Print

Recently, several of NMRA BR members have been involved with a large 'modular' layout, lots of fun was had by everyone.

What is a modular layout? A modular layout is a model railway layout made up of individual modules that people build to a set of 'standards', which then are joined together to create a larger layout.

The standards we use are based on the standards that the NMRA-BR developed recently, which in turn are based on some others (commonly known as Freemo in the USA, but with some adjustments to suit our preferences and needs).

A photo impression of the meet is here:

As a member of the NMRA-BR , you can participate in these too and build your own module, other members would be happy to help you in doing so.
