For those who have not been for over a year, we have completely changed the way we run trains. We now have a single track HO modular layout with a crossing. The layout is run with dispatcher control and JMRI assigned switch lists. Cars are assigned trains and destinations with the lists showing where to pickup and drop off.
The crossing is equipped with signals, we plan to add more to some modules.
You can bring your own stock or help run other trains, we often run two person crews. Stock best suited for the layout are single cars, with trains limited to around 10' long. There are no turning facilities for locos, unless someone wants to build a module that does that!
The modules are based on the RS Tower / NMRA(BR) standard, with slight wiring differences.
Venue: Hilltop Community Centre, Cunningham Road, Tamerton, PLYMOUTH, Devon PL5 4PU.
Set-up from just after 8am, departure by 5pm
Please contact me for further information.
