Adding signage and finishing touches
Here I have printed on glossy photo paper and weathered with some Tamiya chalks
I mounted the photo paper on to a piece of styrene and painted the edges a rusty colour.
Cut out and applied to the side of the roundhouse.
And applied to both sides of the roundhouse.

Re: Challenge 2015 - Peter Bowen - HO Roundhouse
Finishing details
I have recently purchased the new PECO PSG-1 Pro Static Grass Applicator
And I have been very impressed with the results that I am getting...
I wanted to achieve a random "weed" effect as opposed to a perfect lawn of grass and had messed about using course string and other foliage that all looked unrealistic when compare to the other fine modelling of track, ballast and locomotives etc.
I think that it is good to use a variety of different lengths typically 4mm to 6mm around trackwork
And longer grasses and weeds up to 10 or 12mm
and of varying colours applied sparingly
