Paper Mills

One of the guys in our group is considering modelling this paper mill at Kimberly WI (Kimberly as in Kimberly-Clark) but more recently run by a company called NewPage I believe. (Also previously Stora Enso and Interlake Papers, it's changed hands a few times!)
Nicely for modelling purposes (especially for modules) it has two distinct 'LDE's, an unloading facility for inbound loads in tanks and covered hoppers (Imerys Pigments & Additives) plus the plant itself which in terms of the railroad is almost an end-on building flat!

Unfortunately if you zoom in on the Google ones it shows the plants demolition in full swing - albeit still a rail-served industry with the rubble going out by rail! Interestingly the inbound section is still in use, wonder if it works as a 'transload' for other plants in the area...?
I believe it used either recycled or 'pulp' paper brought in as a base, as there's no sign of it using chips or pulpwood. The mill closed a couple of years back unfortunately, but lasted long enough to be switched by CN taking over from Wisconsin Central, here's some cool CN power switching...

Some more from the same site - both parts are featured in several pics 2/3rds of the way down here - the Imerys site has been reworked several times over the years, the newest version (2007+) seems to be arranged to be switched with a trackmobile rather than the switcher as in the above image with the CN SD40-2W
