My layout is based on SP's Coast Line, circa 1954. It's freelanced inasmuch as it's a fictional location, but I'm striving to get ever closer to running prototypical stock and power. It's 18x8', and only half of it is scenicked, as I plan to move at some point in the next couple of years, and the depot and yard trackwork can then be re-used. My next layout will hopefully represent a reasonably accurate rendition of at least part of the San Luis Obispo trackplan, where trains were switched and helpers added for the Cuesta climb.
