Proto 2000 detail removal

As part of my plans to expand my SP fleet I have started some time ago to strip the paint of two P2k GP9 locos. The majority is off using 'modelstrip'.
Some area's are a bit harder to reach due to hand rails etc. by pulling on them gently it is apparent they are quite well stuck on, either using glue or slightly melting them. Some came a bit loose due to the solvents in the Modelstrip, but I don't dare to use too much of it, nor pulling on them harder.

What have others used/done to remove these items?

On the same subject , does anyone have good roof shots of scarlet and grey passenger GP9's as I want to detail the short hood of one of them with steam generator details etc. amongst others.

Thanks, Koos

Never mind I have answered my first question, just be brave and pull a little harder but very controlled and the parts will come off.

Remains the next question, anybody have any roof shots or drawings of SP passenger duty Geeps?

Cheers, Koos
