2015 Convention Hotels

Post by raifenton » Sat Aug 29, 2015 9:00 am

Whoops, year correction! Please, does anyone know which overflow hotel is being used. A friend has had no response from the obvious source, and he needs to know which one it is within the next ten days.

Regards, Rai

Hi, looking on Google Maps under 'accomodation in Derby', it indicates a budget hotel, the Portland Hotel, near to the convention venue.
Again looking on Google maps under 'hotels and b&b's in Derby', it indicates 2 b&b's, Braemar Guest House and The Maryland B&B, just down the road from the convention venue.
What they are like, I do not know! But hope that this information may be use to you, should all fail.
Best of luck

Dave..

Thanks Dave, but I need to know which overflow hotel that Convention registrants are actually being booked into. As I said, my friend has had no response from the obvious source .....

I understand that, but as I say, should all else fail. Incidentally, the 2 b&b's have good reviews on Tripadviser.
