As a re-railed member I am very disappointed to read that the winter meet has "not overloaded the layouts, allowing more B&B" tables. I understand that some members enjoy these, but seeing the same old things meet after meet on the tables is just not worth the time or the the cost of going. There are a number of very good shows on this time of year which give far better value for my modeling money with layouts to see and enjoy.

Thanks for your reply pnwr2301 (? is there a name I can address you with?)

Sorry to hear that the winter meet does not live up to your expectations.

Please do understand that meets are often organized by a small group of people who are trying to guess what people like based on their experiences. Obviously, it is difficult to please everyone all of the time, but I'm sure they (and indeed organizers of other events) would like to have some of your constructive comments and views how they could improve?
The region isn't big, and hasn't got unlimited funds, but perhaps there are some items which can be done, that you would enjoy?

Feel free to write in to Roundhouse to voice your views, suggestions, or leave comments in the 'Society Business' section of this forum. The region is built by its members, not just a select few.

Kind regards,
Koos
