Is it really twelve months since I posted the message about 'Great Model Railroads 2018'?!!! Well, the 2019 issue is now available from UK stockists (I just picked up mine in WHSmith). According to the blurb:

“This year,” says the Editor, “it seems the theme is compact layouts…We didn’t plan it that way, I swear.” Well, I’ve now studied GMR 2019 in depth and have to admit that I didn’t think it was that brilliant – certainly not as good as last year’s. I liked the two narrow gauge layouts – ‘From Rico to Lizard Head’ (HOn3 Rio Grande Southern) and ‘Lights, Camera, Logging’ (On30 Gold Creek Timber Co.) – but not an awful lot else! That said, GMR 2019 is still an enjoyable and (reasonably) inexpensive read.

I haven't been lucky enough to find a copy at my local store so far, but I'm reliably informed that our own fellow BR member Brian Moore's Quisling CA , SP inspired modules have made it in the issue, which I think is worth an honourable mention
