As the Kadee page says: "The #148 coupler will work anywhere a NO.5® Coupler will work."

Picked up a long-out-of-date Walthers kit myself last week on eBay, also with the Victors sticker. Shows again just how much stuff remains "unbuilt & stashed" in this world.

Agree wholeheartedly with Martyn and Tom that there are indeed various locations up and down the country where you can "earn your spurs", without the need for a custom layout. All, or almost all of the requirements in the link Martyn posted happen most months at our HO modular meet in Plym...

Why don't you approach the board for funds to build some sort of a demonstration ops layout of the type you show, for use in helping to acquire said ops ticket and also as an item that could be displayed at shows? Fantastic picture. Saw a video yesterday too, of it chuffing along magisterially. What a train to run on the HO main line in 2015. Perhaps we'll see it pass through RS Tower one day?
