Re: What did it for you?

SP&S - dirty, noisy Alcos with a slightly drab livery in wonderful scenery and the story of the Hill / Harriman battle of the barons. One day, I must get round to modelling it (when it was the SP&S)! All my models seem to represent it either as BN (Ho scale) or BNSF (N scale). I guess it wil...

It's bad enough when this appends to a model. I was cheesed off when I dropped a screw on the floor this evening,

Re: DCC loco decoders.

I'd just like to confirm Peter's views on MRC decoders. My MRC decoders are also cr*p!

Re: GN Spokane Division

Great work Brian. Particularly like the electrics.
I do like the Hill lines - and the range of fallen flags that are represented.

Re: Short UP Auto Train

This is a really interesting issue we face as we strive for accurate medelling. I hit a similar issue with tunnel mouths - of all things. The line I model had notches cut into the tops of the tunnel entrances to be able to accommodate doubles stack intermodals. Prototypical but it just didn't look r...

Re: My HO Switching Layout - Galatia, KS

Great layout. Particularly like the ground cover and weathered track.
Track plan looks to offer lots of operating potential too.

BNSF Horsethief Bridge N Scale

My N Scale layout is set on the north Bank of the Columbia River Gorge in Washington State. It is modern day BNSF along what was the ex-Spokane, Portland and Seatle (later merged into the Burlington Northern). There is no such place as Horsethief Bridge. In real life, it is the BNSF Fallbridge Subdi...

NCE Switch 8 issue

I've built a small CTC panel and connected it to my DCC system. I use some NCE Switch 8s to power the LEDs.
The first output on the Switch 8s have a habit of losing its address. It used to happen on all three but now just occurs on one.
Has anybody come across this / heard of a fix?

Re: NMRA Convention - Kegworth

Just a quick note to say well done to the team and thank you for a great convention.
Good selection of layouts, traders and I particularly enjoyed the Decoder Pro clinic.
Saw lots of old friends, made some new ones. Good time all round.
