Re: 23rd Street

Hi Mike,

I'm sure if the signals are half as good as the rest of your modelling then they will be great - but am I missing something in the way I view the picture in the post? - I can just about see part of the signal post structure only?

Re: Paint Markers

Hi Mike, The weathering and the new panel look really adds character to the rolling stock - when you're able to get results like that I can understand the merits for doing so rather than leaving them pristine and pretending there's a good cleaning plant on the layout!! Have been looking for paint pe...

Re: N Scale Module Specifications

Hi all N Scalers, As a relative newbie I have a greater need to understand what actually works for my fellow modellers so that for selfish reasons, if for nothing else, I can put that first hand advice into a practical lesson such that I then have a better chance of producing an acceptable outcome -...

Re: N(o) Scale?

Hi Jim, It seems to be the latter as there are a few sections of N scalers out there in the regions - I've just had the latest spec for the N scale module specification that the Black Diamonds group use - Steve Dennison is the lead in the group. I'm keen to understand what others use to see what the...

Re: Challenge 2015 - Peter Bowen - HO Roundhouse

Hi Peter, As the module appears to be an end of the line I might have been tempted to add a bit to each side of the module rather than cut up a nice model!! I see you also decided to stick with the brick fronts rather than a more modern cladding approach - a better choice I think as the completed mo...

N Scale Module - latest specifications

Hi All,

Have been reading through the contents but cannot seem to find a specification for N Scale modules - I did drop a line in the NSig slot but no response - I'm aware that there are teams out there - can anyone help please?

Kind regards

Re: My First Layout - N Gauge Denesport & Lesley Falls

Hi Peter, Just looked at it again and realised it's only part of it - the transfer has cropped the right hand side of it!! It's nice and big as an excel spreadsheet though  - I think it's a case of run with it and see what happens. I also need to dig out the DCC loco's and read the instructions...

Re: 23rd Street

Hi Mike, That's a cracking piece of modelling - a real sense of reality from just one structure - it just goes to show what can be done if you've the eye for it. I also admire the way you have considered and built in the need when folding up the layout. Looking at the photo with the green "pump...

Re: My First Layout - N Gauge Denesport & Lesley Falls

Hi Mike / Peter, You did say there may be a bit of a debate!! A bit busy in the paid community so havent been able to catch up although some reading behind the scenes and a bit of designing the wiring has taken place. https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7008/26936848496_b3a3afc5a8_c.jpg Denesport Wiring ...

Re: 23rd Street

Hi Mike, Its nice to see "sustainability " in action in the modelling world as well as its requirement in the real world!! more power to your elbow (and it of course keeps more of your hard earned pennies in your pocket!!) Given that your layout has a number of industries can i ask what yo...

Re: My First Layout - N Gauge Denesport & Lesley Falls

Hi Peter, I like a good debate!! I'm not sure what you mean particularly about " ....but leave one connection free for future DCC", could you expand on this please? As for the proposed Blocks, as you can see the layout is relatively simple https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5744/23540724736_62...
