Hi
We are working on a JMRI CTC panel for RS Tower. Coding in Python as it is simpler (I think) than Logix and stuff.
Obviously a work in progress!

I take it the electrical box thingy does not count!
Any way hope to have it at the next meet (small hope).

Are small modules allowed
Hi Koos
I am thinking of building a 6" module with signals for APB. Would that count? If so could I start now as I have the bits?

Re: JMRI ops
Any starting tips would be gratefully received. Hi Martyn has beaten me to it, even as I write! Not sure if you are talking modules or permanent layout. The big problem with regular meets is club members wishing to bring a different set of cars to each meet. Typing stuff in is just a bore, whereas ...

Hi
Why do you want a staging yard? One can work quite well assuming the train had just arrived at the first station. Or a removable staging cassette off one end?

Hi
I am with Koos on this one, nothing beats a long train on a very long scenic only module! There must be a proper word for this.

Re: Model Railroading in the UK, a perception
Hi Koos
A good answer. However we have been operating prototypically over here for years which people over there seem aware of, Freezer wrote an excellent little book in 93 and we certainly ran a large Japanese N Gauge layout with signals and timetable well over 10 years ago.

Cal for HO modules - NMRA-BR Spring Meet 2014, WestonRail
This is a call for HO modules for the NMRA BR Spring Meet. Could anyone who wishes to bring a HO module to the above meet please let me know by the middle of Februray to allow planing to commence. Modules to be compatible with the NMRA-BR or RS Tower Spec. There may be limited space. Thanks Peter L-J

TT&TO at Weston
Hi
I wonder if any one is interested in trying our hands at TT&TO on Saturday evening? I know this would mean missing the traditional meal.

Hi Martyn
Yes, keen to bring along a module, but who is our POC? BTW I assume that RS Tower / NMRA BR (new spec) boards are in order.
