Re: Newly announced at Trainfest

Enough new goodies, but I find it a bit frustrating that the 2nd run is already announced of the GP38-2's , when the 1st run hasn't even reached us yet (I haven't received mine anyway), those SP gondola's look very tasty too.

Re: 10th Nov 2012 - Freemo meet, Broadclyst

It was a fun day today at the meet, here's a taster picture of our gathering, showing you the overview. Many others took pictures in between the operating sessions (or during during a crew change or pause) . We had a few electrical problems at the start, but all and all very enjoyable. Thanks go to ...

Re: Deadwood City Railroad - HO

Somewhat jealous as I am now restricted to room 12' x 7' narrowing to 6'. Shame you aren't a bit closer. I model the Verde Valley Railway in Arizona, a branch off a branch! Could run the whole thing with a couple of 1950 consuls or alternatly a couple of black ansd asilve geep 9s or blue and yellwo...

Re: Deadwood City Railroad - HO

Just a question, Did the Santa Fe operate a passenger train as short as the one shown, with an F unit pair (A and B) and only two coaches in local service? Just curious, I totally understand if it is this short for space reasons on your layout, but I've seen pics of an SP E unit with one pax car in ...

Re: 10th Nov 2012 - Freemo meet, Broadclyst

Okay, looks like I'll be there for at least part of the day, I am having to drop of (and pick up) my son to a birthday party first, but I will probably make it at about 10:30AM, reporting for duty :-)

see you all tomorrow.

Re: High Speed Juice Train

Would have preferred a couple of SD70Ace 's on the point of that one :-)

Great video though!

Re: NS latest Honoring Veterians

I like the thought behind it but I'm kinda with Brian on the look of the thing - it's a bit all-over-the-place design-wise. :) I really hope this country doesn't attempt anything as, well, undignified. Re: BN SD9

I know , weak excuse , does it count that I'm abroad during the week (probably not, just get another job I guess :-) ), trying to muck about with my module, but have run out of supplies at the moment. I don't or rarely watch the telly myself (never really have either, probably due to the fact that I...

Re: The Weathering Magazine

Looks good, it seems one could learn quite a lot from these magazines, however perhaps I've overlooked it but I haven't noticed any gender politics.... which is probably a good thing.

That is indeed progress if I ever saw some, impressive Brian!
I wish I had 10% of your modeling time available, but I guess I need to wait until the kids leave the nest, for starters I'll have their bedrooms for hobby rooms :-) , 10 more years at least I'm guessing :-)

Re: BN SD9

Looking forward to it Brian. Should promise to be a fun day, and I'll volunteer to be a crew member on one of the trains. :-)
I should be able to be there for most of the day.
