Re: Walthers Kits

These days, I'm happy to limit myself to stuff I really need for my 1954 SP Coast Line planned layout when we finally move house. Thus, I received a probably final two tank cars (making a shocking to...

Re: Walthers Kits

As the Kadee page says: "The #148 coupler will work anywhere a NO.5® Coupler will work."

Picked up a long-out-of-date Walthers kit myself last week on eBay, also with the Victors sticker. Shows again just how much stuff remains "unbuilt & stashed" in this world.

Re: AP Chief Dispatcher

Agree wholeheartedly with Martyn and Tom that there are indeed various locations up and down the country where you can "earn your spurs", without the need for a custom layout. All, or almost all of the requirements in the link Martyn posted happen most months at our HO modular meet in Plymouth. Ditt...

Re: AP Chief Dispatcher

Could Peco be approached for a donation of Code 83 track and points for this project? Would be great advertising for them if their name was on the module(s) at shows etc.

Re: AP Chief Dispatcher

Why don't you approach the board for funds to build some sort of a demonstration ops layout of the type you show, for use in helping to acquire said ops ticket and also as an item that could be displayed at shows? It's surely the sort of thing that fits into Mike Hughes's ideas of how we should be s...

Fantastic picture. Saw a video yesterday too, of it chuffing along magisterially. What a train to run on the HO main line in 2015. Perhaps we'll see it pass through RS Tower one day?
