Re: Westside SP Atlantic 4-4-2

Lubrication of the worm and motor bearing has had the desired effect, the model runs really smoothly through the range now. It wasn't without its fraught moments, one of the tiny screws flew off into the Bermuda triangle which sits in my workshop, happily I have a wide selection of small sized screw...

Re: Weathering another boxcar

From the point of view of artistic use, I find that the water miscible oil paints are very good and they don't stink the place out - I know about the odourless solvent for oils and have used that as well on paintings. Re: Westside SP Atlantic 4-4-2

As one of the Black Diamonds participants on our HO layout, I'd like to thank the organisers for a great week end - lots to see and lots to do plus a number of bargains bought as well. What could be better? I'm looking forward to next year's meet already!

SP passenger car interior colours - enquiry

I am a relative newcomer to railway modelling and have not been able to find the info that I need on Southern Pacific passenger car interiors. I have set of IHC interiors that I wish to fit but would like them to look reasonably authentic. None of the books I have read give me the details I require....
